Some Tottenham Hotspur players celebrated when they found out Jose Mourinho had been sacked, according to Michael Bridges, who reports for Sky Sports.
Tottenham announced news of Mourinho’s departure on Monday, with the Portuguese boss experiencing a rather tumultuous time in charge at the North London club.
Spurs’ performances have dipped in recent months, with tensions between Mourinho and some players becoming clear.
Mourinho was regularly criticising Tottenham’s squad in the weeks building up to his departure.
And it seems that some members of the squad were pleased when they found out Daniel Levy parted company with their former manager.
“I’ve had some information that a few players actually celebrated the news in the gym of Mourinho’s departure,” he said.
“However, Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son, Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, Eric Dier, Lucas Moura and some youngsters got on with Mourinho very well and were actually sad to see him go.”

Tottenham have since appointed Ryan Mason to take charge until the end of the season.
Mason got off to a winning start on Wednesday, and it was immediately evident how he was trying to get his Spurs side playing higher up the pitch.
Tottenham fell behind against Southampton but battled back well to claim the three points.
Tottenham are next in action against Manchester City in the League Cup final, and if they can win it would cap off a hugely dramatic week at Spurs in style, as the side chase their first major silverware since 2008.
