Liverpool fans are demanding that John Henry signs Kylian Mbappe as a way of apologising for the European Super League fiasco.
Henry issued a two-minute long apology video on Liverpool’s official Twitter account, for his actions in the past week.
Reds supporters, players and club legends have all spoken out in protest against the decision to take them into the Super League.
Liverpool did confirm their withdrawal after the backlash last night, but calls for FSG to stand down have been very vociferous.
Even after his apology, Liverpool supporters suggested that Henry needed to leave.
However, some Reds fans have suggested that they would forgive Henry is he proved his ambition and signed Mbappe from PSG this summer.
FSG have always spent prudently at Anfield throughout their reign so far, so it would take a huge chance in stance to sign Mbappe.
But the French forward apparently would be keen to move to Liverpool if the chance arose, with Duncan Castles saying on the Transfer Window Podcast that he has actually told friends that a move to Merseyside would appeal to him.
