Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has ‘significant reservations’ about becoming the next Tottenham Hotspur manager, according to the Daily Mail.
Spurs are looking for a new manager having taken the shock move to sack Jose Mourinho on Monday morning.
It’s claimed that Rodgers has admirers at Tottenham as they seek a replacement, with his work at Leicester and Celtic seemingly impressing Daniel Levy and co.
However, whilst Rodgers is aware that Spurs want him, he has major concerns about the job, believing that he wouldn’t have the same level of control as he does at Leicester.
Rodgers has been able to take close aide Lee Congerton to Leicester with him from Celtic, but a move to Tottenham seems unlikely.
Rodgers would be placed in a system where Levy and Steve Hitchen have a major say in transfers and overall approach.

That may not work for Rodgers, whilst the fee required to lure him away from Leicester is also seen as prohibitive.
Levy may well want Rodgers, but a move to Tottenham seems to be almost impossible right now, so we’re certainly not expecting him to move on.
