Gabby Agbonlahor and Jadon Sancho were just a number of people to praise Leeds United striker, Patrick Bamford, on Instagram.

Amid the chaos and anger that has ensued regarding the European Super League, Bamford questioned why there isn’t this ‘amount of uproar’ when it comes to racism, as he told Sky Sports.

From Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, to Prince William, and the powers that be in the footballing world, they have all come together and been very critical of that the proposed ESL plan.

But when Bamford was asked about the situation that has rocked the footballing world, this is the brilliant response that he gave:

“It’s amazing the amount of uproar when somebody’s pocket is being hurt. It’s a shame that this doesn’t happen with issues like racism.”

Wycombe striker Adebayo Akinfenwa wrote on Sky Sports Instagram post: “I rate @patrick_bamford response.”

Whilst Sancho took to his Instagram story to send clapping emojis and ex-Villa player, Agbonlahor, stated on his own Instagram story: “Well said, Patrick.”

Those at UEFA are threatening to kick the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid and Chelsea out of this year’s Champions League.

Added with that, there is talk that players will be banned from playing for their country and the domestic competition of their own country if they take part in this breakaway league.

On top of that, Culture Secretary, Oliver Dowden made it clear to the powers in football that if they don’t stop this European Super League then the Government will intervene and do it themselves, as posted by the Daily Mail.

Once again, where is this energy and talk when it comes to racism?
