Tottenham Hotspur fans have slammed Donny van de Beek after he went down easily against Burnley yesterday.
Ole Gunner Solskjaer was very critical of Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son when the two sides met recently, after the South Korean exaggerated contact with Scott McTominay.
United ended up having a goal ruled out, as Son made it clear that McTominay’s hand had made contact with his face.
Solskjaer said afterwards that the Tottenham forward shouldn’t be given any dinner for the evening, such was his behaviour.
But eagled eyed Spurs fans spotted Van de Beek making the very most of contact during Burnley’s game.
Unsurprisingly Solskjaer neglected to mention Van de Beek’s supposed simulation in his post match comments.
But it will be interesting to see if the United boss speaks out as critically as he did about Son, if he is asked the question in future.
