Arsenal loanee Joe Willock was the hero for Newcastle United once again on Saturday.
The 21-year-old Gunners midfielder came off the bench to score a late winner in helping Newcastle beat West Ham United 3-2 at St James’s Park.
Willock’s goal came two weeks after the Hale End academy product bagged a late equaliser in the 2-2 draw against Arsenal’s North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Overall, the youngster has hit three Premier League goals since leaving Mikel Arteta’s side to join the Magpies in January.
Willock is certainly in a rich vein of form and on Saturday, he paid tribute to another red-hot Arsenal player.
Alexandre Lacazette has bagged five goals in his last five games for the Emirates Stadium club.
And Willock celebrated Saturday’s goal against the Hammers by adopting the French striker’s trademark pose after scoring, but the former Lyon hitman seems to have co-signed it.
Here’s how Lacazette reacted on Twitter:
Arteta’s side, who moved into the semi-final of the Europa League this week as Lacazette bagged twice away to Slavia Prague in a 4-0 win, host Fulham at the Emirates this afternoon.
