Some Leeds United fans on social media have been lavishing praise upon Andrea Radrizzani after seeing the first-team giving the U23s a guard of honour after their PL2 triumph.

Usually, you would expect this sort of praise to be reserved for the players or the managers who were conducting and taking part in the guard of honour, but Leeds fans wanted to credit the chairman, and we can understand why.

The culture at Leeds has completely changed since Radrizzani came in at Elland Road, and it has to be said that this time four years ago you never would have imagined that a group of Premier League players would be giving an incredibly talented group of U23s a guard of honour at Elland Road.

That sort of unity and success was unimaginable for over a decade at Leeds, under the likes of Massimo Cellino and Ken Bates, Leeds were in the headlines for all the wrong reasons on almost a weekly basis, but now they’re a model club that any team in England should be envious of, and fans believe that is down to Radrizzani.

The Italian deserves a lot of praise for the work he’s done over the past four years, and he’s getting it now.

Here’s what the Leeds United fanbase have been saying on social media…
