Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has suggested to the club’s official app that both Lucas Moura and Moussa Sissoko will feature against Everton tonight.

Moura will make his 100th Premier League appearance for Tottenham if he plays, while Sissoko is on course to play for Spurs for the 200th time.

And Mourinho has suggested that both players should achieve the landmark occasion, which he hopes can they can celebrate with a victory.

“I like that,” he said. “I like this kind of milestone for the players. It reflects a commitment to the club and professionalism. A lot of things people don’t realise.

“So I believe it’s going to happen for both. If not starting coming from the bench and I’m happy for them. The best way to remember milestones is to get the result you need, so hopefully they can celebrate with victory.”

In terms of starting, Lucas looks the more likely player to be picked in Tottenham’s line-up.

Lucas is unquestionably one of Mourinho’s favourite players, and has been picked regularly this term.

His recent form has been impressive, with Lucas one of Tottenham’s more dangerous attacking players, despite their struggles.

Sissoko, meanwhile, performs an important role off the bench – and it appears Mourinho is planning to bring the Frenchman on at some stage this evening.
