Celtic haven’t yet got a deal sorted for Eddie Howe, meaning their search for a new manager goes on.
The Bhoys may have to start looking at other options if Howe doesn’t commit to the job soon, and one other candidate is Lucien Favre.
The Daily Mail reported that Favre wants the Celtic job and would be interested in discussions about a move to Glasgow.
Favre lost his job at Borussia Dortmund in December, and is now looking for a route back into management, which could come with Celtic.
Favre is attracting other interest though, with Milliyet claiming that Fenerbahce fancy landing him for next season.
The Swiss coach allegedly held secret talks with Fenerbahce, but the Turkish side decided to move on after learning his huge salary demands.

Favre earned around €4.5million-a-year at Dortmund – around £75,000-a-week – and wants to receive similar wages in his next job.
That was far too rich for Fenerbahce’s blood, so the question begs; would Celtic really go to that kind of money?
Brendan Rodgers earned £45,000-a-week at Celtic, and that was the biggest deal in club and Scottish history. With that in mind, Favre to Parkhead just seems completely unfathomable.
