Martinelli’s one-word tweet has got some Arsenal fans excited before Sheffield United

Some Arsenal fans on Twitter believe that Gabriel Martinelli has just dropped a hint that he’s starting against Sheffield United tonight.

Arsenal don’t have a great deal to play for in the Premier League and with a huge second-leg away to Slavia Prague in the quarter-final of the Europa League on Thursday, Mikel Arteta might just ring the changes for tonight’s visit to the Blades.

Martinelli is one of the most exciting young players in the Premier League but the 19-year-old Gunners attacker has only managed 233 minutes in this competition all season – and hasn’t started since the 0-0 draw with Manchester United back in January.

But Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is reportedly absent for Arsenal today [The Athletic] and there could potentially be a spare slot up front, particularly if Arteta rests Alexandre Lacazette.

And some fans of the Emirates Stadium club think that the Brazilian sensation has dropped a hint on Twitter about a spot in the first XI.
