‘Beyond a joke now’: Some Spurs fans fume over what Sky Sports are reporting

Another week, another story about Harry Kane potentially leaving Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports and numerous other high-profile publications, Kane is reported to have told Tottenham that he’d like to leave if Jose Mourinho’s side fail to qualify for the Champions League.

As things stand, Spurs are five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, though victory at home to Manchester United this afternoon will reduce the gap to two points with seven to play in the Premier League.

Kane is turning 28 in July and if Tottenham don’t beat Manchester City in the League Cup final in a couple of weeks then for all of the striker’s countless goals down the years, he still won’t have won a single thing in senior football.

And if rumours are true, failure to qualify for the Champions League might just be the last straw for the England international.
