Balogun is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season, and the Gunners have not announced a new deal yet.
However, according to Sky Sports and The Guardian, the 19-year-old striker is close to agreeing a new deal with the Gunners.
Sky Sports have reported that Arsenal technical director Edu and manager Mikel Arteta have convinced the teenager to commit his long-term future at the North London club.
The Guardian has claimed that the youngster will put pen to paper on a new deal soon.
Balogun has not made an appearance in the Premier League, but the England Under-20 international has played in the Europa League and has done well for the Arsenal Under-23 side.
According to WhoScored, the teenager has scored two goals and provided one assist in 61 minutes in the Europa League.
