Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after some footage of Folarin Balogun training at London Colney emerged.
The video in question shows the 19-year-old taking on Mat Ryan in a finishing drill, where the teenager comes out on top every time.
As one fan mentions, the variety in his finishing is eye-catching.
In the footage, Balogun can be seen doing a ball roll, then some stepovers to deceive Ryan, before slotting into an empty net.
Another finish shows him slamming the ball high into the top-left corner, before he is then seen curling a shot into the bottom-right corner.
Then, we see Balogun’s best finish of them all.
The England Under-20 international latches onto a through ball, before executing a bizarre piece of skill that confused us as much as it confused the goalkeeper!
Balogun rolls the ball with his right foot, but then immediately chops it back with his left, where he then watches his effort roll over the line.
The ‘insane’ footage comes after The Athletic revealed that the New York born forward is on the verge of signing a four-year contract.
That is significant news for Arsenal, as it looked certain that Balogun would be leaving this summer.
The Athletic claimed in January that he was close to agreeing a pre-contract deal with a foreign club.
