Fabrizio Romano has stated on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy will do his best to keep Harry Kane at the club.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Kane wants to play in the Champions League, but Spurs want him to stay.
The Guardian and SkySport journalist has added that Spurs chairman Levy will do his best to keep the England international striker at the North London club.
Romano has further said that Spurs are still in talks with South Korea international forward Son Heung-min over a new contract.
Good news for Tottenham Hotspur fans
A report in The Athletic earlier today claimed that Kane will push for a move from Tottenham if they are unable to finish in the Champions League places in the Premier League table this season.
Spurs fans will have been worried, but Romano’s news should allay their fears a bit.

Kane has been on the books of Spurs his entire professional club football career so far, and if he wanted to leave, he would have done so by now.
Levy reportedly determined to keep the England international striker at the club shows that he is not thinking about selling him for any price.
As for Son, if he signs a new contract, then it can only be good for the team.
