According to a report from 90Min, Leeds United have entered the race to sign Sergio Aguero this summer.
The Argentine is leaving Manchester City at the end of his contract, and he’s likely to be one of the hottest free agents on the market this summer, and Leeds are a club considering bringing him in.
This would undoubtedly be an incredibly ambitious move from Leeds, but it’s not all that unrealistic, especially when you consider that Andrea Radrizzani has admitted that he thought about signing Edinson Cavani last summer, a player who is of a similar stature.
We don’t need to insult your intelligence by telling you what Aguero would bring to Leeds, the numbers speak for themselves, and his reputation precedes him. He’s one of the Premier League’s all-time great goalscorers, and he’d immediately become Leeds’ talisman if he came in.
The Argentine would undoubtedly work wonders under Marcelo Bielsa, but Leeds will undoubtedly face stiff competition for his signature.

This comes just weeks after the Whites were linked with a move for Max Allegri as their new manager, so you can quite easily see the scale of the ambition at Elland Road at the moment.
Whether or not Aguero is signed remains to be seen, but United fans should have a keen eye on this situation.
