Khloe Kardashian’s unedited picture leaks online

On April 5th, a picture of Khloe was leaked online, and her PR team confirmed the news as they tried to remove it from online forums. The picture was first released on a Reddit forum.

Following the leak of the picture, the same was shared on other online forums. Tracy Romulus, chief marketing officer for KKW Brands broke her silence about the picture in a statement to Page Six. “The color edited photo was taken of Khloé during a private family gathering and posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant,”she said.

She continued: “Khloé looks beautiful but it is within the right of the copyright owner to not want an image not intended to be published taken down.”

The picture has now been removed from the Reddit forum. The page says, “Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s Legal Operations team. This content was removed in response to a copyright claim by a third party.”

Khloe Kardashian responds to the picture

Khloe took to her Instagram profile to address the unedited picture and explain why she wanted the snap to be taken down.

In a lengthy statement, the reality star opened up about the struggles with her body image, saying that she feels “almost unbearable” pressure to meet the “impossible standards” set by fans.

“In truth, the pressure, constant ridicule and judgment my entire life to be perfect and to meet others’ standards of how I should look has been too much to bear,” Khloe wrote.

“As someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn’t flattering, in bad lighting or doesn’t capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point – and then shares it to the world – you should have every right to ask for it not to be shared – regardless of who you are.”
