Genshin Impact has been a fantastic game since its launch in September of last year and the good news is that the Rosaria banner is coming out. However, lately there’s been some controversy with certain fans calling for it to be boycotted, with some accusations suggesting that the vocal boycott is only because of an alleged delay to the Inazuma region. This has resulted in some people asking if Inazuma has been delayed in Genshin Impact, and here you’ll find when it could come out according to the latest leaks.

As for what’s official, the Rosaria banner comes out meaning the nun will now be playable. You’ll be able to play as the red-headed nun without pulling her thanks to a special trial event which is also fantastic news. Meanwhile, in regard to leaks with more backbone to them, the release date for update 1.5 should come towards the end of April with two new characters allegedly leaked.

While leaks for Genshin Impact are nothing new, below you’ll discover if the Inazuma region has been delayed.

Has Inazuma been delayed in Genshin Impact?

The Inazuma region has not been officially delayed in Genshin Impact.

No release date or window has been announced for the Inazuma region by miHoYo, meaning any possible delay for Genshin Impact is not official.

MiHoYo did release a trailer back in September 2020 which listed the regions of Teyvat and in what order they would arrive.

These regions were also listed with appearing characters besides them.

MiHoYo’s order from back in September 2020 is as follows:

  • Prologue: The Outlander Who Caught The Wind – Mondstadt region – Diluc
  • Act I: Farewell, Archaic Lord – Liyue region – Ningguang
  • Act II: Ominpresence Over Mortals – Inazuma region – Ayaka, Kamisato
  • Act III: Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana – Sumeru region – Cyno
  • Act IV: Masquerade of the Guilty – Fontaine region – Lyney, Lynette
  • Act V: Incandescent Ode of Resurrection – Natlan region – Iansan
  • Act VI: Everwinter Without Mercy – Snezhnaya region – Harbiger Pulcinella
  • Act ?: The Dream Yet to Be Dreamed – Khaen’riah region – Bough Keeper Dainsleif

When will the Inazuma region come out in Genshin Impact?

There is no official release date for when the Inazuma region will come out in Genshin Impact.

However, latest leaks suggest that the Inazuma region will come out as part of Genshin Impact update 1.6 and 1.7.

Per the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Discord (via Dualshockers), it’s suggested that the region could come out in updates 1.6, 1.7, or 1.8.

This supposed leak suggests that two Inazuma islands will come out in update 1.6, with the region’s city arriving in 1.7. It also says that the first two character banners will include Kazuha and Yomiya.

Update 1.6 suggests that the two islands will arrive in June, but this is by no means official despite previous leaks pointing to update 1.6 also.

However, as far the outrage regarding delays is concerned, know that nothing has been officially delayed as no release window was suggested unlike with Dragonspine when it was marketed in advance for update 1.2.
