Matheus Pereira has been a fan favourite at West Bromwich Albion, but his time with the club may be coming to an end.
The Brazilian playmaker spent last season on loan from Sporting, and took the Championship by storm with eight goals and a staggering 20 assists.
West Brom signed Pereira permanently off the back of his loan spell, and he has found life in the Premier League a little tougher with just five goals and three assists.
Now, UOL Esporte in Pereira’s native Brazil claim that West Brom are already planning to sell Pereira this summer, and want a fee of around €20million (£17million) having bought him for €9.5million (£8.1million) last summer.
The Baggies have allegedly received enquiries already, with Premier League teams keen to keep him in the top flight as West Brom prepare for likely relegation.
Fans love Pereira for his creativity and flair in the final third, and West Brom’s official website branded him a ‘magician’ back in September.

West Brom would surely love to have Pereira in the Championship again having seen him dominate last season, but they may feel that the money is too good.
It’s unclear whether Sam Allardyce will still be in charge next term, but letting Pereira leave may not go down too well with Baggies fans ahead of next term.
