Atalanta could be tempted to sell reported Everton and Leicester City target Ruslan Malinovskyi if they receive a “concrete and advantageous offer”, the Ukraine international’s agent Sergiy Serebrennikov has told Minuti di Recupero.
Things have changed a bit in the Malinovskyi camp since Everton and Leicester were linked, via Calciomercato.
At the time, the former Genk star was struggling for game time at perhaps the most free-flowing football team in the whole of Europe.
But, since the contentious departure of La Deal legend Papu Gomez in January, Malinovskyi has stepped out of the shadows, putting together an impressive string of performances at the heart of Gian Piero Gasperini’s whirling midfield carousel.
The £20 million-rated playmaker scored one and assisted the other in the 2-0 victory over Hellas Verona before the March international break.
According to Malinovskyi’s agent, however, this doesn’t mean the 27-year-old is destined to be plying his trade in Bergamo next season.
“There are always many rumours about Malinovskyi. If a concrete and advantageous offer arrives, Atalanta will obviously evaluate it,” Serebrennikov explains.

“But, in the absence of (an offer), we are talking about a player who is fine in Bergamo and who has a very long contract. A renewal? I prefer not to talk about these things. In any case, there is no urgency from this point of view.
“The contract is still long enough.”
Towards the end of the last summer transfer window, The Telegraph reported Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United were weighing up a bid for a player who has all the tools – endless energy reserves coupled with supreme technical skill – to thrive at Elland Road.
And, with Rodrigo’s injury issues ongoing and Mateusz Klich struggling to exert his influence on the top flight, a new attacking midfielder is likely to be at the top of Leeds’ wish-list this year too.
