Ozan Tufan has admitted to Sozcu that he dreams of playing Premier League football ‘as soon as possible’ after Liverpool scouted the Fenerbahce star on Saturday.
It remains to be seen whether Jurgen Klopp’s reigning Premier League champions firm up their interest in the 26-year-old midfielder, with just two months remaining until the transfer window swings open (Fanatik).
What is clear, however, is that Tufan would be more than happy to open talks with one of the biggest clubs in England.
The Super Lig ace scored two brilliant goals in front of the watching Liverpool scouts as Turkey battered Norway 3-0 in Saturday’s World Cup qualifier, following up a well-taken left-footed volley with a stunning right-footed curler from outside of the box.
Tufan has now scored nine goals for club and country in 2020/21.
And, after spending his entire professional career in his home country, the one-time Bursaspor youngster is clearly keen to take the next step.

“Of course, like every football player, my dream is to prove myself abroad and represent my country there. The place I want to play is the English Premier League,” Tufan said.
“I want to see myself there. I hope this happens as soon as possible.”
Hurriyet reported in January, when West Brom and Crystal Palace were linked, that Fenerbahce were willing to listen to offers in the region of £13 million for their diminutive midfield dynamo.
