Liverpool have been linked with a move for Sander Berge for quite some time now, and a report has emerged from Voetbal24 in Belgium, claiming that Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the Norwegian.
The midfielder has had an indifferent season at Sheffield United. The Blades seem destined for relegation, and Berge has struggled with injury, but even if United go down, the 23-year-old may have an immediate route back into the Premier League.
Voetbal24 claim that Klopp is ‘absolutely convinced’ by Berge’s talent and he reportedly thinks that he’d be the ideal addition to Liverpool’s midfield.
The Reds have been linked with a number of midfielders this summer, and with Georginio Wijnaldum looking like leaving Anfield at the end of the season, they do need reinforcements in that area.

Berge may be available for a cut-price fee if Sheffield United are relegated, and it seems as though Klopp is a big fan, so don’t be surprised if Liverpool are ready to pounce.
Unfortunately for the Reds, they’re not the only Premier League outfit with eyes on Berge. Aston Villa are also credited with an interest by Voetbal 24, while Arsenal and Spurs have been linked in the past.
It remains to be seen what Berge’s future holds, but if these reports are to be believed, Klopp would absolutely love to have him at Liverpool.
