If you are a) a Portuguese international or b) a Jorge Mendes client, there is a good chance you’ve been linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers at some point in the last five years.
It just so happens that Francisco Trincao ticks both boxes.
14 months ago, Mendes struck a deal that saw the six-capped Iberian leave Braga for Barcelona in a £29 million deal.
With Trincao facing an uncertain future at the Camp Nou just one year on, it was only a matter of time before Wolves entered the discussion.
According to El Confidencial, a Barca side with debts of around £630 million are once again preparing for a summer of sales with the artful left-winger joining Samuel Umtiti and Philippe Coutinho on the transfer list.
Could Trincao become the latest Mendes client to don the Old Gold of Wolves? El Confidencial believe this is a real possibility.
The 21-year-old has been overshadowed by fellow youngsters Pedri, Ilaix Moriba and Ansu Fati during a testing debut season in Catalonia, starting just two La Liga games.

But if Trincao is not going to be given the patience he needs to spread his wings in blue and red, he could do a lot worse than put pen to paper with a Wolves side who turned Diogo Jota and Pedro Neto from talented youngsters into full-blown Portuguese internationals.
Adama Traore, meanwhile, has blossomed at Molineux after being overlooked by Barca.
“Trincão is an incredible player, with lots of character and remarkable quality,” former Braga teammate Abel Ruiz told PortuGoal last year. “He’s a great dribbler, he can go past his man either side, on the right, on the left, and he’s got a very good shot. He’s a very complete player.
“I’d say he’s similar to (Lionel) Messi.”
No wonder Wolves fans are excited.
