Charlie Austin, Branislav Ivanovic and Kamil Grosicki will leave West Bromwich Albion this summer with the veteran trio out of contract, as reported by the Birmingham Mail.
It’s not every day Robert Lewandowski sings the praises of a man who can’t even get into the match-day squad at a team stuck in the Premier League’s relegation zone.
But, speaking ahead of a trio of World Cup qualifiers against Hungary, Andorra and England, Bayern Munich’s red-hot centre-forward made sure he reminded Grosicki how highly he’s valued in the Poland camp.
“I wish his position at (West Brom) would change and he would start playing,” Lewandowski told Onet of his 80-cap teammate.
“Kamil is able to create something out of nothing. There are players who, even when they play less, have something in them and can help the team.”
Grosicki will be desperate to force his way back into West Brom’s plans with just three months remaining until the European Championships get under way.
But, after failing to secure a mid-season switch to eiter Nottingham Forest or Legia Warsaw, it seems unlikely the experienced winger will kick a ball in anger before the end of May.

Grosicki’s contract expires in the summer and, according to the Birmingham Mail, he will follow 37-year-old Ivanovic and QPR loanee Austin out the door.
Ivanovic only joined the Baggies in September but Austin, at least, is enjoying something of a personal renaissance in 2021.
Since rejoining Queens Park Rangers on a short-term deal in January, the striker has scored six goals in 15 Championship games.
Will he stay at Loftus Road when his West Brom deal runs out?
