Anime series Dota: Dragon’s Blood will be making its debut soon and fans want to know who the cast are and when the release date is. We have the rundown!

Dota: Dragon’s Blood is an anime adaptation of ‘Dota’ (2003), a video game franchise. More specifically the series will follow the events of ‘Dota 2’ (2013).

The animated series has been produced by Executive producer, Ashley Miller, using the production companies, Netflix Animation and Valve. With the animation provided by Studio Mir. Fans of the franchise are eagerly awaiting the release of the series and want to know who features in it as well as the release date.

Dota: Dragon’s Blood, will be available to watch on Netflix on Friday, 25th March 2021, in time for family movie night over the weekend.

Yuri Lowenthal as Davion

Yuri Lowenthal was born on 5th March 1971 in Ohio, U.S. He attended the College of William & Mary where he majored in East Asian studies but also took classes in Theatre. His first taste of acting was in high school where he did drama classes.

His breakthrough in acting came when he was featured on a 1994-1995 TV series titled ‘Marmalade Boy’, as an actor on IMDB he has been credited with over 700 roles. He is well known for his roles in ‘Spider-man’ (Video game 2018) and ‘Ben 10: Omniverse’. His upcoming roles include ‘Hullaballoo’ (TBA) and ‘Delicate State’ (2021). Josh Keaton as Bram

Josh Luis Wiener, better known as Josh Keaton, was born on 8th February 1979 in California, U.S. He has three sisters is of Peruvian descent. He has been active in his acting career from as early as 1990 where he appeared on series such as ‘New Kids on the Block’ and ‘The Real Ghostbusters’.

He has over 200 credited roles as an actor on IMBD and is well known for his roles in ‘Hercules’ (1997) and ‘Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater’ (2004). His upcoming roles include Dota: Dragon’s Blood and ‘No More Heroes III’ (2021). You can follow Josh on his official Instagram account below:

Lara Pulver as Princess Mirana

Lara Pulver is an English actress born on 1st September 1980 in Essex, England. She attended the National Youth Music Theatre when she was younger and later attended Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts.

Since leaving college she has appeared in numerous west end musicals. Her first TV appearance was in ‘Robin Hood’ (2009), since then she has been credited with over 20 acting roles and is well known for her appearances in ‘Sherlock’ (2012-2016) and ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ (2014).

Tony Todd as Slyrak the Ember Eldwurm

Anthony Tiran Todd, Better known as Tony Todd was born on 4th December 1954 in Washington D.C., U.S. He is well known as an actor, voice actor and film producer. He is related to actress Monique Dupree, who is his sister.

Todd attended the Eugene O’Neill National Actors Theatre Institute, where he studied theatre. He has been active in his acting career from as early as 1986, where he appeared in ‘Barrington’. He has over 200 credited roles and is well known for his appearances in ‘Candyman’ (1992) and ‘The Crow’ (1994). He is set to appear in a few roles later this year and some of which do not yet have a release date. These include ’13 Steps’, ‘Runes’, ‘The Pitch-Fork’ and ‘HellBlazers’. There is an Instagram account in his name which is thought to be his but as there is no blue tick, this can not be confirmed at the time of writing. Troy Baker as Invoker

Troy Edward Baker, better known as Troy Baker was born on 1st April 1976 in Texas, U.S. There is not much known about his personal life but here is what we could find about his professional one. He began his acting career by appearing on Radio in Texas. His first TV acting role was for ‘Yu Yu Hakusho’ in 1994.

Since then he has gone on to appear in over 300 acting roles and is well known for his work on ‘The Last of Us’ (Video game – 2013) and ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ (Video game – 2015). His only upcoming role for this year that has been listed is in Dota: Dragon’s Blood.

Kari Wahlgren as Luna

Kari Wahlgren is an American actress born on 13th July 1997 in Kansas, U.S. She took a shine to acting at an early age and when she was 11-years-old, she took on a role in radio drama ‘Adventures in Odessey’. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 1999, with a degree in Arts and Theatre.

Her first TV role was in 1978 where she appeared in ‘Lupin the 3rd’. Since then she has been credited in over 500 acting roles. Wahlgren is most well-known for her work in ‘Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness (2011 – 2016) and ‘Rick and Morty’ (2013). Her upcoming roles for this year include her work on Dota: Dragon’s Blood and ‘DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power’ (Video game).
