David Ornstein has said that Tottenham Hotspur contacts have told him that they are confident that Harry Kane will spend his entire career at the club in the last 24 hours, on the Ornstein & Chapman podcast.
Kane’s future has been heavily speculated about this week, following Tottenham’s exit from the Europa League.
Ornstein, himself, has suggested on Sky that Kane actually would be open to a move away from Spurs now.
However, any buying club would find it hugely difficult to find a fee that Daniel Levy would be wiling to accept for his side’s star man.
And Ornstein says Tottenham insiders truly believe that Kane will spend his entire career in North London.
“Quite a few contacts I’ve spoken to in the last 24 hours or so think Harry Kane will be at Tottenham for the rest of his career,” he said.
“We obviously don’t know how that will pan out, but the sentiment being that the chances of him leaving look really small.”
If Kane does spend the years ahead at Spurs he will surely go down as one of the club’s all time greats.
Kane is well on track to break Alan Shearer’s Premier League all-time scoring record.
And Tottenham fans will surely be delighted to hear some positive news on Kane’s future, after so much speculation in recent days.
