Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has said that he struggled throughout his time on the pitch last night, as quoted on BBC Sport.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side got the better of Fulham 2-1 away from home at Craven Cottage in the Premier League on Friday evening.
Bamford scored a goal and provided the assist for the other and had a very good game overall.
The 27-year-old striker was taken off in the 77th minute, and the Englishman has said that he was struggling last night.
BBC Sport quotes Bamford as saying: “The lads deserve a lot of credit, they had to do a lot of my running tonight because I was struggling from the get-go. It was a matter of time for how long I could last and at 77 minutes the legs packed in.”

International break comes at the right time
Bamford had to be taken off against Chelsea in the Premier League last weekend, and it is clear that the 27-year-old striker could do with a bit of rest.
The striker is the main main upfront for Leeds and starts when he is fit. Given the way the Whites play under Bielsa, it can be tough on players who could do with rest from time to time.
Bamford has scored 14 goals and provided six assists in 29 Premier League games for Leeds so far this season, according to WhoScored.
