Kieran Tierney has thrown his weight behind John Kennedy getting the Celtic job, in an interview with Sky Sports.
Celtic are looking for a new manager, following the departure of Neil Lennon.
Kennedy has been given the reins until the end of the season, as Celtic search for a replacement.
But Tierney insists that the Bhoys don’t need to look too far away from home, in their search for a new manager.
“I just think he has to do what he has to do,” Tierney said.
“He’s got he’s own ideas how to play football. I worked with him for years under different managers. I know how good he is.
“If I was a player I’d be hoping he gets it, because I know how good he can be with players. I know how much he’s learned from different managers. I think he’d be brilliant.”

Whether Celtic fans will agree with their former player remains up for debate.
Kennedy has worked behind the scenes at Parkhead for a long time, but he is completely inexperienced in management.
Celtic would be taking a big risk appointing a rookie boss at a time when they are playing catch up with Rangers.
But Tierney’s vocal backing will do Kennedy’s chances of landing the job permanently no harm, and it will be interesting to see how he performs during his time in solo charge.
