Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Mahmoud Dahoud again, five years after he was originally linked with a switch to the North London club.
The Daily Mail say that Tottenham and Manchester City are among the clubs keen on the midfielder, who currently plies his trade for Borussia Mochengladbach.
Dahoud actually missed the entirety of last season with injury, but he is still on Tottenham’s wishlist, as a long-standing target.
BILD reported back in 2017 that Mauricio Pochettino wanted to bring a then fresh-faced Dahoud to Spurs.
Tottenham failed with their attempts then, but he apparently now is on Jose Mourinho’s wishlist.
If Spurs are to sign him they do face competition though, with Pep Guardiola’s City, Everton and Chelsea all looking at securing his signature.

If Dahoud was brought to Spurs he would give Mourinho more options to deploy at the base of his midfield.
But his arrival would place further doubts over the futures of Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks, both of whom have struggled for game time this term.
