Thomas Henry is hoping to make the leap from OH Leuven to sister club Leicester City after a prolific season in Belgium, as he told Hurriyet.
If Sunday’s 5-0 shellacking of Sheffield United is anything to go by, Brendan Rodgers may not need a new number nine.
Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho combined to devastating effect at the King Power Stadium; the latter netting his first Premier League hat-trick to maintain a terrific run of form since the turn of the year.
But, with Vardy now 34 and Iheanacho yet to prove that he can perform consistently in Leicester blue, the Foxes may be tempted to hand a chance to a man who simply cannot stop scoring for their Belgium-based sister club.
“Leuven is Leicester City’s piloting team. and therefore the transition to the Premier League is easier for me. England attracts me,” said Henry, a reported transfer target for Turkish giants Besiktas.

“Everyone knows Besiktas is a great club that plays in European competition every year.
“(But) other leagues are more prioritized for me. Germany, England, Italy or Spain make me dream more. We will see what will happen.”
With 20 goals in 29 games, Henry has done his chances of a move to Leicester no harm at all this season.
The 26-year-old centre-forward scored a further 15 goals in 2019/20, firing Leuven to promotion out of the Belgian second tier.
Filip Benkovic (below), Kamal Sowah and Josh Eppiah are all currently on loan at OHL from Leicester.
