It seems like a drama is brewing between Tiffany Haddish and Nicki Minaj. In a surfaced audio, Tiffany is heard throwing some shades at Nicki. Here’s a look at the drama that unfolded.
On March 14, Tiffany celebrated her Grammy win. However, this was short-lived as she was surrounded by controversy after an audio recording of her slamming Nicki surfaced online. As of now, neither Nicki nor Tiffany has broken their silence surrounding the audio clip.
Tiffany Haddish and Nicki Minaj drama
The drama started when Tiffany appeared on an episode of Clubhouse chat. In it, Tiffany was compared to Nicki and was called the “Nicki Minaj of comedy.” As the interview continued, another voice interrupted and suggested Tiffany was better than Nicki because “she showed up on time.”
Just when people thought the drama was over, Tiffany decided to put forward her thoughts and added, “unlike Nicki, I treat everybody with respect and dignity.”
One of the reasons for their beef could be their encounter during the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. In it, Tiffany decided to throw shade at Fifth Harmony. She applauded Camila Cabello’s five nominations while downplaying Fith Harmony’s achievements.
Following this Nicki decided to stand up for her friend as she said, “Don’t be coming for Fifth Harmony because Normani is that b**ch!”
Tiffany Haddish and her Grammy win
Amid this drama, Tiffany had a lot to celebrate as she won a Grammy for the comedy album. She found out about the win while shooting for ‘Kids Say the Darndest Things with Tiffany Haddish.’
As soon as she heard the news, Tiffany stopped what she was doing and was filled with emotions. “Can I tell you why I’m crying? It’s a lot of bumpy roads that you cross, right? And it’s a lot of times that you feel like, ‘Am I doing the right thing? Is this good enough? Am I good enough? Am I strong enough to do this job?’” she said in a video that has been going around on social media.
She continued, And then you just have to believe in yourself as much as you can. Against all odds, you just say, ‘You know what? I’m going to just put my best foot forward, and I’m going to give the world the best that I got.’ Right? Anything is possible.”
