According to The Telegraph, West Ham United are in the race to sign Woking striker Jayden Wareham at the end of the season.
It’s claimed that Wareham is a wanted man as Southampton and Leicester City are also keen, with West Ham keeping tabs too.
Wareham was released by Queens Park Rangers just a couple of years ago, but has been rebuilding his reputation in non-league.
The 17-year-old has scored twice in 12 National League games for Woking this season, catching Premier League attention as a result.
Wareham signed a two-year deal with Woking in 2019 and was handed a first professional contract in October having made impressive progress.
Leicester and West Ham certainly make sense for Wareham given that they already have two strikers who have carved out Premier League careers after non-league beginnings.

Jamie Vardy is the big example of that rise, but Michail Antonio did the same, meaning Wareham has major inspiration at both clubs.
A summer move may be on the cards for Wareham, and few could blame him for jumping at the chance of a Premier League deal.
