Rangers, Celtic and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs keeping tabs on the prolific Aaron Boupendza, according to 90Min, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has recommended the striker to Arsenal.
When 2021/22 kicks off, could Aubameyang be fighting for a place in Mikel Arteta’s front line with another Gabonese goal-machine?
At the age of 24, the late-blooming Boupendza is certainly producing numbers his superstar compatriot would be proud of.
In fact, with 18 goals in 23 matches since joining Hatayspor from Bordeaux, Boupendza is actually outscoring Aubameyang in 2020/21.
And the in-form number nine is already attracting offers from far and wide, with two months of the season still to go.
According to 90Min, Southampton have identified the versatile frontman as a potential replacement for contract rebel Danny Ings.

The Saints will face competition, however, from Leicester, Newcastle, West Ham United, Brighton and a Wolves side who have found goals hard to come by since losing Raul Jimenez in November.
Tottenham are also in the race, with Benfica loanee Carlos Vinicius expected to depart in May.
90Min throw Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers into the mix, while claiming that Aubameyang has told Arsenal to keep a close eye on another Gabonese frontman.
