Leeds United are interested in appointing Massimiliano Allegri as their new head coach if Marcelo Bielsa leaves, according to The Times, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s verdict on the Italian will surely interest the fans.
The report in The Times has claimed that Leeds have approached the former AC Milan and Juventus manager.
Bielsa is out of contract at the Premier League club at the end of the season, and with no new deal in place, it is not clear if the Argentine will be at Elland Road beyond the summer of 2021.
Allegri has not been in a managerial role since May 2019 when he stepped down at Juventus.
During his time at the Italian giants, the 53-year-old worked with former Manchester United and Real Madrid star Ronaldo.
Ronaldo is one of the greatest players of all time, and the 36-year-old has worked with some brilliant managers.

The Portugal international worked with Allegri for just one season, but it left a favourable impression on him.
When it was announced that Allegri was going to leave Juventus, Ronaldo posted the following message on Instagram, which shows how much he enjoyed working with him.
According to AS’s translation of the post, it reads: “Thank you coach, we’ve only spent one year together but it was exceptional because you are a great manager and a great man. It was a pleasure to work with you.”
