Tottenham Hotspur were beaten away at local rivals Arsenal on Sunday evening, falling to a 2-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium.
Spurs did take the lead with a stunning goal, as Erik Lamela produced an incredible rabona to open the scoring.
That’s as good as it got for Spurs though, as Martin Odegaard equalised for the Gunners before Alexandre Lacazette won the game from the penalty spot having been fouled by Davinson Sanchez.
Spurs couldn’t haul themselves back into the game, and fell to a disappointing defeat having spent far too long of the game being too cautious.
A number of Spurs players struggled to hit top form on Sunday, and midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg didn’t exactly have his best game.
The Dane found it tough against Odegaard and often had to try and help out Matt Doherty at right back, given that he was struggling against Emile Smith Rowe.

Pundit Alan Smith told Sky Sports (67 min) that he felt this was a ‘tough’ match for Hojbjerg, noting that he wasn’t quite at his usual best.
Smith feels that covering at right back hampered Hojbjerg, as he struggled to cope with the movement of Smith Rowe and Odegaard around him.
“It’s been a tough match for Hojbjerg,” said Smith. “He’s had to shift across to the right quite often, there has been a lot of movement around him,” he added.
