According to The Telegraph, Arsenal and Chelsea are in the race to sign Inter Milan flyer Achraf Hakimi this summer.
The 22-year-old only joined the Italian giants back in the summer from Real Madrid, in a deal that was worth £34 million.
However, with Inter’s owners – Suning Holdings Group – shutting down a club they own in China, there are fears that the Serie A side could be impacted financially.
As a result, selling Hakimi – who has 31 caps for Morocco – could be seen as a great way to raise some cash.
The Telegraph say that Arsenal are looking for a right-back, as Hector Bellerin’s admirers across Europe weigh up a summer bid.
So, what type of player is Hakimi?

Well, if Arsenal do sign the youngster, Mikel Arteta will be getting a ridiculously quick footballer.
His ex-teammate, Marco Reus, described him as ‘incredibly fast’ when speaking to the Bundesliga’s official website.
Additionally, Hakimi was named the fastest player since Bundesliga records began in May 2020, as relayed by Goal.

The versatile right-back hit a top speed of 22.49mph (36.20 km/h) during a 3-3 draw against RB Leipzig at the age of 21.
Interestingly, Goal also mention that this was quicker than the top speed recorded by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang during his time in Germany.
In 33 appearances this season, he has six goals and six assists.
If Edu can bring Hakimi to north London, a full-back pairing of him and Kieran Tierney would be incredibly tough for opponents to keep up with.
