Leeds United have suffered a 2-0 defeat to West Ham United this evening, but the result could have been so different at London Stadium in the Premier League game.

In the opening minutes of the match, Tyler Roberts had the ball in the back of the net and thought that he had scored.

However, VAR ruled that Helder Costa was in an offside position, and the goal was ruled out.

Leeds have made their opinion clear on Twitter on the incident, as shown below.

Match Stats

Jesse Lingard put the Hammers in the lead in the 21st minute, and Craig Dawson doubled the advantage on 28 minutes.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at London Stadium on Monday evening, hosts West Ham had 35% of the possession, took 16 shots of which five were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
