Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Gareth Bale against Crystal Palace.
Bale was in action for Tottenham in their Premier League game against Palace at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League this evening.
The Wales international winger, who returned to Spurs on loan from Spanish and European giants Real Madrid in the summer of 2020, scored twice, first in the 25th minute and then on 49 minutes.
The 31-year-old winger has started to play well in recent games and looks fully match fit now.
Palace are not exactly a ‘great’ team, but the performance of Bale in the London derby was noteworthy.
According to WhoScored, the winger took two shots and both ended in goal, played four key passes, had a pass accuracy of 86.6%, won three headers, took 54 touches, attempted two dribbles, made two tackles, one interception and one clearance, and put in four crosses.
With Spurs aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and also looking to win the Europa League, Bale is starting to find form at just the right time.
Some Tottenham fans were impressed by the display produced by Bale against Palace and have raved about him on Twitter.
