Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool’s defeat to Fulham at Anfield this afternoon.

Liverpool have suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of Fulham at home in the Premier League today.

Mario Lemina’s goal on the stroke of half time proved to be the difference between the two sides.

It was the defending English champions’ sixth defeat in a row at Anfield in the Premier League.

The result means that Liverpool are now seventh in the Premier League table with 43 points from 28 matches, four points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, who have played 27 games.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Everton striker Lineker has given his take on Twitter on the latest defeat for Liverpool.

While mathematically Liverpool’s chances of winning the Premier League title cannot be written off just yet, their form suggests that they could miss out.

Liverpool are struggling to score goals at the moment and are also unable to stop conceding.

If the Reds are to finish in the top four, then they have to start putting together a run of positive results.
