Carlo Ancelotti has been speaking to Sky Sports as part of a Q&A session posted on their YouTube channel yesterday evening.
The Italian was asked a range of questions, such as how to make the perfect pasta, to his toughest managerial opponent throughout his career.
Ancelotti was also asked about his relationship with Duncan Ferguson, specifically quizzed on the 49-year-old’s accent.
The 61-year-old’s assistant has a thick, Scottish accent, and the Toffees boss was asked if he has trouble understanding his No.2.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Ancelotti said: “I still have difficulties but I’m working on it, I tell him, Duncan, speak slowly, please.”
It does seem to be an interesting partnership at times, but Ferguson is crucial to Ancelotti, in our view.
He helps give the former AC Milan boss an insight into the history of the club, while he knows the Toffees better than most people in the game.
When Ancelotti arrived at Goodison Park, we’re sure he leant heavily on Ferguson to explain the type of thing supporters want to see, and other details about the club.
It’s quite funny to see that the Italian struggles to understand his No.2 at times, but whatever they’ve been discussing seems to be working.
Everton currently sit fifth in the Premier League, just one point off the top four with a game in hand over every side sat above them.
