Where can you watch Run Hide Fight? Can you watch the film online? Here’s how to watch the 2021 movie starring Thomas Jane and Radha Mitchell.

While there’s no denying that 2020 was a frustrating year for moviegoers, the year still ushered in a wealth of great films.

Netflix offered the likes of I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Da 5 Bloods and Mank, Amazon delivered laughs with Borat Subsequent Moviefilm and Christopher Nolan’s Tenet made it onto the big screen.

However, there were a number of delays, with audiences still waiting on A Quiet Place Part II, Dune and No Time to Die.

Although far more obscure, viewers are also waiting to check out Run Hide Fight too. Directed by Kyle Rankin, the film centres on a high school which falls prey to sadistic shooters.

But how can you watch the movie? Is Run Hide Fight on Netflix, Hulu or Amazon Prime?

Creators and Daily Wire talk Run Hide Fight

The film was produced by Dallas Sonnier (Bone Tomahawk) and Amanda Presmyk, with Dallas establishing a new production banner – Bonfire Legend – in association with the film.

Daily Wire’s Jeremy said of the new film which premiered at the 2020 Venice Film Festival: “Run Hide Fight is ultimately a movie about courage in the face of evil. This is a gut-wrenching film that does not offer easy talking points, which is why liberal Hollywood executives have refused to distribute it.”

Deadline also includes that Dallas explained:

“We’re proud to work with The Daily Wire as the exclusive North American distributor for Run Hide Fight. The Daily Wire’s policy of not publishing the names of mass shooters made it an ideal partner. If this film has a political viewpoint, it’s that we should not make terrorists famous; it’s the heroes whose names we should remember.”

He added: “We spent years carefully developing this movie in consultation with law enforcement veterans and shooting victims to immerse people into a realistic portrayal of what it’s like to experience one of these tragedies.”

What did the critics say?

Run Hide Fight currently holds a very low rating of 13 out of 100 on Metacritic, based on six reviews in total.

IndieWire’s David Ehrlich criticised the film, arguing: “Run Hide Fight is a glib, artless, and reprehensibly stupid thriller that doesn’t even have enough on its mind to be provocative. It’s a movie made by someone who’s seen too many movies, and now made at least one too many as well.”

Similarly, The Telegraph’s Robbie Collin wrote: “The film makes no attempt to grapple with the American school shooting as a nihilistic cultural phenomenon.”
