WandaVision’s last mind-bending episode can’t come soon enough but when is the exact release time for episode 9? When is the final episode on Disney Plus?

From its very first trailer, WandaVision always promised to be a wonderfully weird show and after eight mind-bending episodes, that’s proven to be just the case.

The series began airing on Disney+ on January 15th, 2021 but not all episodes were released at once.

Instead, episodes have been releasing weekly and fans hoping to watch the new episode as soon it arrives have been left asking when the release time is for WandaVision episode 9.

WandaVision on Disney+

WandaVision premiered on Disney+ on January 15th, 2021.

Thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is the first release in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Spider-Man: Far From Home in July 2019.

The series centres on Wanda Maximoff and Vision, placing the two Avengers characters in a period sitcom setting, with each new episode taking place in a new decade.

However, while Wanda and Vision’s lives seem perfectly happy to begin with, not everything is as it seems.

Episode 9 release time

  • Episode 9 of WandaVision arrives on Disney+ on March 5th at midnight Pacific Time in the US.

Just like with The Mandalorian, new episodes of WandaVision will release weekly on Disney+.

On top of that, new episodes will arrive at the same time around the world, midnight PT.

This means that fans hoping to catch the new episode as soon as it releases can tune in from 3am ET in the US, 8am here in the UK, 1:30pm in India and 7pm in Sydney, Australia.

One of the biggest gripes fans have had with WandaVision is the episode length. However, according to Games Radar, episode 9 promises to be the longest yet at 50 minutes exactly including credits.

Last time: Episode 8

After beginning in joyous fashion, WandaVision’s sitcom style has quickly transformed into one heck of a mind-bending mystery.

Following on from Agnes’s reveal that she was actually a witch by the name of Agatha Harkness in episode 7, the most recent instalment took us back in time for some ‘real re-runs.’

Wanda and Agatha venture back into Wanda’s past in order to find out just how the Westview Hex was created.

We explore Wanda’s early childhood memories of watching American sitcoms with her Sokovian family before her parents were killed by an airstrike using Stark missiles.

After the Maximoff twins later were taken in by Hydra, Agatha then delves into Wanda’s early conversations with Vision, where their love first sparked into being and Vision also delivered one of the most profound lines in Marvel history.

We see Wanda head to SWORD HQ in the hopes of retrieving Vision’s body to give him a proper funeral but when she can’t feel his presence anymore in his dismembered vibranium shell, she heads to Westview where she finds the plot of land Vision had bought for the pair to grow old in.

Overcome by emotion, Wanda creates the Westview Hex and a new Vision using Chaos Magic.

And finally, in a mid-credits scene, it’s revealed that SWORD’s Director Hayward has rebuilt Vision’s corpse which is now a ghostly white colour.
