Rio Ferdinand has said on Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE that Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele will not get into the Liverpool team.
The Manchester United legend has said that Ndombele is an amazing footballer and he loves him.
However, Ferdinand does not think that the 24-year-old France international midfielder is good enough to get into the strongest Liverpool team.
Ferdinand said on Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE: “I love Tanguy Ndombele, but who is he going to play for? Does he get in the Liverpool team? No. He is not getting into the Liverpool strongest team.”
The former England international central defender added: “I think he is a really good player, I really like him, I think he is an amazing player, but we are saying who out of their team gets in the top teams, Son and Kane are the only ones.”

Could Tanguy Ndombele play for Liverpool?
When all the Liverpool midfielders are fit and available, it is hard to see Ndombele get into the Reds’ starting lineup.
Thiago, Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum are the four main and senior midfielders for manager Jurgen Klopp.
As good a player Ndombele is – and he is a very good footballer who is dynamic, scores goals, creates chances, and drives the team forward – at this moment in time, he would not be ahead of Thiago, Fabinho, Henderson or Wijnaldum.
However, one will not know if the 24-year-old will get into the Liverpool team unless he joins the Reds.
According to WhoScored, Ndombele has made 21 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in the process.
