According to The Sun, Newcastle United talent Kyle Scott is heading to the United States with FC Cincinnati.
It’s claimed that Scott is heading for a trial with the MLS side and will begin training with them very soon.
Jaap Stam is their manager, and he allegedly wants to take a close look at Scott ahead of a potential deal.
The 23-year-old joined Newcastle on a free transfer from Chelsea in the summer of 2019, and the Magpies appeared to have landed a bargain.
Scott had shown potential at Chelsea, and rejected Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur for Newcastle according to agent Neil Bartholomew.
However, injuries have hit Scott hard, and he still hasn’t made his first-team debut for Newcastle at the age of 23.

The Chronicle recently noted that Stam wanted Scott at Reading, so the interest right now is no great shock, whilst Swansea City missed out in January.
Scott was worth taking a punt on for Newcastle, but it just hasn’t worked out – and a move to America now seems to be on the cards.
