According to Eurosport, Everton are interested in Stuttgart youngster Silas Wamangituka, who has been compared to Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe.
It has been reported that scouts from Everton and Fulham have been impressed by the 21-year-old attacker.
The youngster’s pace and finishing ability has sparked interest from the Toffees and the Cottagers, according to the report.
“The 21-year-old wide forward has been one of the most exciting talents in Germany this season and his style of play and impact is not dissimilar to the way Nicolas Pepe popped onto the radar of elite clubs two years ago when he was at Lille,” adds the report in Eurosport.
Everton and Fulham will reportedly face competition if they make a move for the Congolese in the summer of 2021.
Bigger clubs in Germany are also claimed to be monitoring the former Paris FC man.
Wamangituka has been on the books of Stuttgart since 2019 and has developed well over the past two or so years.
The 21-year-old has played in a number of positions in attack, but he has been mainly deployed on the right wing this season.
According to WhoScored, the Congolese has made 21 starts and one substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Stuttgart so far this season, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in the process.
During the 2019-20 campaign, the youngster made 18 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the second division in Germany, scoring seven goals and providing six assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Pepe cost Arsenal £72 million when they signed him from Lille in the summer of 2019, according to BBC Sport, but it is very unlikely that Wamangituka will cost that much.
