TikTok famous Dr Jason Campbell originally spread positivity on the app, but he’s now reportedly facing a serious lawsuit.

He first gained fame online for his dancing videos, earning himself spots on Good Morning America and The Doctors. With millions of views and plenty of followers on both Instagram and TikTok, his viral fame was an aftermath of the pandemic.

Now, Oregon Live reports TikTok doc Jason Campbell has been named as a defendant, along with the Oregon Health & Science University , in a multi-million dollar lawsuit by a former colleague. The suit reportedly accuses him and OHSU of sexual assault, battery, intentional emotional distress, invasion of privacy and negligence.

Who is Dr Jason Campbell?

32-year-old Jason Campbell was a resident in the Department of Anaesthesiology in Portland. However, it’s reported that he now resides and works in Florida.

He is a graduate of the Ohio State University of College of Medicine, and has also been published by various media outlets including the Chicago Tribune, The Seattle Times, The Oregonian and Cleveland.com.

On Instagram he uses the handle @drjcofthedc, where he has 116,000 followers. While on TikTok he also uses the handle @drjofthedc, but has over 260,000 followers. However, both accounts were made private on Sunday, February 28th, two days after the lawsuit was filed.

The doctor’s TikTok videos

Jason Campbell found fame at the start of the pandemic, uploading videos in March of 2020. The clips often documented him dancing to songs like Cha Cha Slide, 1,000 Miles and Funkytown.

The majority of the TikTok videos were filmed outside the hospital, in the hallways and even inside the operating room.

His videos awarded him opportunities to feature on shows like The Doctors, Good Morning America and even the People’s Choice Awards 2020.
