USA gymnastics coach John Geddert has died by suicide – who is his wife Kathryn and did they have any children?
The former USA Olympics gymnastics coach was found dead on Thursday, February 25th.
Geddert, who was charged with multiple counts of human trafficking and sexual assault, is survived by his wife Kathryn Geddert and their three children.

Former Olympics gymnastics coach John Geddert died by suicide on Thursday, February 25th.
Michigan State Police confirmed that they found Geddert’s body on Thursday afternoon after he was charged with crimes including human trafficking and sexual assault. Geddert had agreed to surrender at a sheriff’s office yesterday but did not show up.
Attorney General Dana Nessel said in a written statement:
“My office has been notified that the body of John Geddert was found late this afternoon after taking his own life. This is a tragic end to a tragic story for everyone involved.”
According to reports, an investigation went on Thursday evening and no further details have been revealed by police at the time of writing.
Who is John Geddert’s wife?
John Geddert’s wife is Kathryn Geddert. She is 62 years old and is a graduate from Central Michigan University.
John and Kathryn opened the Twistars Gymnastics Club in Lansing, Michigan in June 1996 which trained sportspeople for national and international tournaments.
In 2018, Geddert handed over the ownership of the club to Kathryn after USA Gymnastics suspended his membership.
According to recent reports, Kathryn sold Twistars Gymnastics Club to new owners and the club’s name is Capital City Flips now.
