Some Arsenal fans have responded to Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez’s latest post on Twitter.
Martinez joined Villa from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer of 2020.
The Argentine goalkeeper has been superb for the Villans so far this season and is one of the first names on the teamsheet.

The 28-year-old has proved himself to be a reliable pair of hands between the posts, and for Villa to finish in the European places in the Premier League table this season, he will have to be on top form for the rest of the season.

Aston Villa doing better than Arsenal
A quick glance at the Premier League table will show that Villa are having a better season than Arsenal.
Of course, there are still a lot of games left this season, but it does seem that the Villans will finish above the Gunners in the league table.
Martinez was going to be a back-up to Bernd Leno at Arsenal if he had stayed at the Emirates Stadium. The Argentine is flourishing at Villa, and there is a lot more to come from him.
