Is Dickinson season 3 confirmed? Let’s consider the renewal status of the Apple TV+ series as fans finish season 2.

Although fairly recent to the TV streaming game, Apple TV+ has already offered audiences a wide range of exciting shows.

One of the most celebrated was arguably Dickinson, which premiered in November 2019 when the streaming service debuted.

Created by Alena Smith, this darkly comic period piece sees Hailee Steinfeld tackle the role of 19th-century poet Emily Dickinson.

Much of Dickinson’s work was never published until after her death aged 55 in 1886, but the series explores her life with a revisionist flair.

It later returned to screens, but can fans expect season 3?

Is Dickinson season 3 confirmed?

  • Yes, Dickinson has been renewed for season 3.

The Express highlights that the series was renewed for a third season in October 2020 at the time Apple TV+ shared a glimpse of season 2. The news came a few months after creator and executive producer Alena Smith secured a deal with the streaming service.

It’s reportedly one of their best-performing shows.

At the moment, a release date is yet to be confirmed and it’s perhaps too early to expect any news on that front.

However, it’s likely that season 3 will premiere in the early months of 2022; there was a 13-month gap between the release of seasons 1 and 2.
