When is Big Sky episode 3 on Disney Plus?

  • Big Sky episode 3 will be available to stream on Disney Plus from Friday, February 26th 2021.

Episodes will be made available at 8 am in the UK and 9 am in the majority of other European countries. Disney+ and Star originals are released at 12:01 pacific time, 8 hours behind GMT.

That’s right. Episodes of Big Sky will air weekly, with episode 4 – titled ‘Unfinished Business’ – set to air on Friday, March 5th 2021.

Episode 9 will be made available on the streaming service on Friday, April 9th 2021. As of yet, it’s uncertain when episode 10 will air, as the show is on a break over on ABC.

Episode 10 is scheduled for release on ABC on Tuesday, April 13th, so perhaps audiences will be treated to it just a few days later on Disney+.

Big Sky: How many episodes?

There is still a long road ahead for you Big Sky fans, as there will be 16 episodes to dive into in total.

Interestingly, there were only 10 episodes to begin with. However, Variety highlights that the network ordered an additional six episodes after the first three had finished airing. So, the break in scheduling over on ABC presumably allows the team to get to work on shooting new episodes.

As for the reason behind the decision, perhaps the show’s ratings made more episodes impossible to turn down. After a week of delayed viewing, the Big Sky premiere landed 10.8 million total viewers and a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49.

To put this into perspective, it became ABC’s most-watched and highest-rated debut since The Rookie.

New episodes of Big Sky will be added to Disney+ each Friday.
