Ian Wright has shared that West Ham duo Tomáš Souček and Declan Rice are ‘the best’ two pivots in the Premier League, as he told Wrighty’s Podcast.
The Highbury legend shared that he also loves how the duo attack from their defensive positions and push forward ‘as far as they can go’.

Both have been pivotal in West Ham’s current position – Champions League spot – and they epitomise David Moyes’ new and hungry team.
Wright stated that this current West Ham team are ‘dangerous’, as he shared his love towards their two number 6’s.
“I like the way Soucek and Rice play,” said Wright. “It’s the best two pivot I see when I watch out there.

“They have got no problems. You can see Moyes saying ‘If you can go (forward), you go and you go as far as you can’.
“I have seen Rice go as far as he can. Go into the box all the way from his own half, hit the shot and hit the bar. I have seen Soucek against Palace, just amble up into the centre-forward positions and end up scoring a header as the two pivots.
“So, they are getting offensive play from everybody they can. They are dangerous.”
At this rate, West Ham are heading one way and one way only and that’s towards Champions League football.
During Moyes’ reign at Everton, for a number of years he secured European football, but only once did they finish in the top-four.
Well, in his first full season in charge of the Hammers, it’s looking increasingly likely that this previously-relegation threatened team are about to do the unthinkable from the last campaign and secure a remarkable turnaround.
